About the Role

Blue Polaris is hiring Junior Software Engineers to work on modern data and application platforms. If you’ve built projects in Java or Python and understand the basics of databases and OOP, this is a great first role to launch your software career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development of backend services, APIs, and integrations.
  • Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with seniors on design, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Work with relational or NoSQL databases for data modeling and queries.
  • Document features and follow Agile/Scrum rituals.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of Java or Python and OOP concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL / database queries.
  • Familiarity with Git and REST APIs is a plus.
  • Bonus: Spring Boot, Django/Flask, unit testing.
  • Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and communication.

Eligibility

  • B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./MCA (CS/IT/ECE or related) — 2023/2024/2025 pass-outs preferred.
  • 0–1 year of total experience (internships and projects count!).
  • Ready to work from the Chennai office as required.
