What you'll do

Work on production‑grade data tooling and automation that powers the Forma.ai platform.

  • Build robust ETL pipelines to ingest and transform customer data.
  • Write and optimize Python & SQL powering dashboards, reports, and analytics.
  • Automate internal workflows and develop tooling to reduce manual work.
  • Collaborate directly with business teams and customers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong Python & SQL skills — you can write readable, efficient code and SQL queries.
  • Curious, proactive problem solvers with a strong customer empathy mindset.
  • Great communication — able to present findings and work with cross‑functional partners.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Databricks or AWS Glue.

Eligibility

  • Passing out year: 2026
  • Minimum CGPA: 8.5+ (and 10th & 12th > 85%)
  • Open to all B.Tech branches
  • Location: In‑office at Pune (Kalyani Nagar)
  • Note: Not eligible if you interviewed with Forma.ai in the past 1 year.

Selection timeline & perks

  • Entire selection process will be conducted in‑office on 2nd December. (Detailed instructions shared 1–2 days prior.)
  • 6‑month internship with the possibility of a PPO based on performance.

Pro tip: Prepare SQL queries that join multiple tables and Python snippets that clean and validate data. Be ready to discuss how you automated repetitive tasks in past projects.

How to prepare for the interview

  1. Review SQL: joins, window functions, aggregations, CTEs.
  2. Brush up on Python data manipulation (pandas, data validation, ETL patterns).
  3. Understand ETL/ELT concepts and common architecture tradeoffs.
  4. If you have experience with Databricks/AWS Glue — prepare short notes on one project you worked on.
